Goals are meant to help us grow as an individual. Consider this strategy.
A – Goals: Something you may have done before, like buy a house, a car, a job move, etc. This is typically a goal that does not take a lot of effort or learning since it is typically an action that you have some experience with.
B – Goals: Something that you can learn but is a stretch goal. Like going from running a 5k to a marathon. This type of goal is when you have some experience in attaining the goal, but now you want to stretch the goal to achieve it at a greater level. With this goal, you do know a routine to follow but will have to expand the routine to maximize the ability to achieve it at a greater level.
C – Goals: These goals really excite you. Some refer to this goal as a BHAG – which stands for a big, hairy, audacious goal. It’s a goal that should scare you. It can be anything big. For example: taking a world cruise, living in a different country, or perhaps, starting a company. These types of goals.
