Here’s the thing: the world needs us now more than ever. Us—the women who build, nurture, and sustain. As we step into 2025, two words rise up like a quiet anthem: community and consciousness. They’re not just ideas; they’re lifelines.
At Purse Strings, we’ve created more than a platform. We’ve built a sanctuary, a vibrant gathering space where women can show up as they are—full of questions, wrestling with doubt, seeking the tools to make smart financial decisions. And isn’t that what we crave in these shifting times? To belong, to feel seen, to lean into the wisdom of others when the road feels uncertain?
Let’s be real: the terrain is changing beneath our feet.
We’re aging into new roles—caregivers, decision-makers, solo adventurers in a world that didn’t always expect us to walk alone. More women are choosing to chart their own paths, unmarrying old expectations, while others find themselves navigating a life they didn’t see coming—divorce or widowhood reshaping their tomorrows. I know this story. I’ve lived it.
The question is, who do we turn to when life demands we pivot?
The answer is what it’s always been: each other.
That’s why community matters. It’s not just a nice-to-have; it’s survival. It’s the thread that stitches us together when everything feels like it’s unraveling. Community heals our health, bolsters our wealth, and reminds us of our infinite worth.

The same principle applies to how we manage our money. Women are leading a revolution in socially responsible investing—not just asking what our money can earn but what it can change.
