What Our Professionals Said About the Reach, Engage, and Earn the Female Dollar Workshop
“The workshop is very thoughtfully organized and forces you to look at your business from the female perspective. The resources provided are helpful, intentional, and we will be using and sharing them with clients. (In particular, the books).”
Ashley
Financial Advisor
“I liked that I was able to ask questions about how to be more effective in helping female investors and entrepreneurs, and ask questions about my male mentality and trying to make sure I do not step into “it” in my conversations.”
Kelley
Financial Planner
“The PurseStrings course is an informative way to learn about the female client. It allowed me to look at my business from a different angle and see how I could improve myself, my staff, and my business to be more impactful to women.”

Have a Question Before Joining?
How is the hybrid program structured?
You’ll begin with a live 2-hour kickoff session with Dr. Barb, then move into four self-paced online courses you can complete anytime within the cohort window. Once you’ve completed the courses and the assessment tool, you’ll come back together for a final live 2-hour mastermind session to review your strategies, refine your sales process, and receive personalized feedback.
What if I can’t attend the live sessions?
We strongly encourage attending live so you can participate in the discussion and receive direct guidance. Sessions will not be recorded. (NOTE: You will not be awarded CEs if not in attendance.)
How long do I have access to the self-directed courses?
You will have access only during your cohort timeframe, with the opportunity to complete all coursework before the final mastermind session; typically two weeks inbetween live sessions to complete the four 1-hr online courses.
Will I earn CE credit for this program?
Yes. This enhanced hybrid workshop continues to qualify for CE credits for CFPs, CDFAs, ChFC®, CLU®, ChSNC®, TPCP®, CLF®, CAP®, FSCP®, WMCP®. Your required information for reporting was requested at registration.
I’m new to working with women. Is this program right for me?
Absolutely. Many participants join because they know women are an essential part of their business, but feel unsure about where to start. You’ll receive frameworks, scripts, communication strategies, and real-life scenarios that make it easy to serve women confidently — even if you’re new to the women’s market.
I already work with women. Will I learn anything new?
Yes — 100%. Most advisors who serve women do so without understanding the full research, lived experiences, and nuanced communication styles that build trust. This program goes far deeper than typical “women’s market” training and helps you refine your approach so it is aligned, authentic, and effective.
Will this help me increase retention and referrals?
Yes. Women are the largest source of advisor movement during divorce, widowhood, and caregiving transitions. When you know how to support them during these seasons, you prevent client loss, increase loyalty, and earn more referrals from grateful clients and their families.
How is this different from other women-in-finance courses?
Most programs offer high-level theory. This program is practical, scenario-based, research-backed, and tool-driven. You’ll walk away with processes, scripts, checklists, and a proprietary assessment that helps you improve your practice immediately.
What if I’m not part of a financial institution — can I still register as an individual?
Absolutely. Advisors, coaches, planners, and insurance professionals regularly enroll independently. Institutional teams often come through in groups — and both paths work beautifully in the cohort model.
