The strongest woman I have ever known is my mother. I was at a young age when I realized the sacrifices she made, and challenges she faced as a divorced and working, mother of 3. She always put us first and I am forever grateful for that. Due to her sacrifices for family though, her financial and retirement picture needed some serious work. My mother never had a financial advisor, maybe she was ignored, or maybe it was a lack of interest due to her profession. But that always resonated with me. I enjoy working with those who care about others and their future. For that reason, I have been very fortunate to work with hundreds of successful women, who all have their own unique story and background. From businessowners transitioning to retirement, to widows trying to start a new life; I am here to be a trusted ally to help you on your journey, and to alleviate the financial concerns you are wondering about. From caregiving, to career, budgeting to taxes, women take on a lot, and my hope is to partner and work together with motivated and caring women, to allow them the time to focus on what really matters; family, faith and career.
At the age of 22 I embarked on starting a Financial Planning practice, right in the beginning of the Great Recession of 07/08! What a fun time. During that time, it fully convicted me the benefit of having a sound financial plan; planning for your dreams and goals, but also the not-so-fortunate things that may happen. I’ve been honored to continue to help people and businessowners build wealth, provide security and leave a legacy. I graduated from NC State University with a degree in Finance and am born and raised in beautiful North Carolina. My wife and I have one four-legged child, Lucy, who is our favorite chocolate lab. Outside of work you can always find me outdoors; from fishing and hunting, being an average golfer, to planting natives in our yard, as well as spending time at the coast. I have served as a volunteer at a local non-profit, StepUp Ministry, since 2009 and would love to tell you more about the amazing things they do. Additionally, I support habitat preservation groups and organizations like Ducks Unlimited, Delta Waterfowl and National Wild Turkey Foundation.
