I have a particular soft spot for working women because I've been a working woman my entire adult life - including the years when I was working two jobs, raising three kids, attempting to manage a household and wondering who decided there were supposed to be 37 hours in every day.
Women have made enormous strides financially and professionally, but the playing field still isn't close to level. We're more likely to step back from work to care for children or aging parents, we're still carrying a disproportionate share of the invisible work at home, and we're often expected to keep everybody else's life running smoothly while somehow making brilliant financial decisions in our spare time. That's why all my work is focused on SIMPLE money solutions that work in the middle of a BUSY DAY.
I especially don't believe in shaming women about money. We weren't all taught good money lessons by our parents.
I don't care whether you bought the expensive coffee, forgot to cancel three subscriptions, or have an Amazon box on your porch that you don't entirely remember ordering. I care about helping you understand what's happening with your money and giving you practical ways to make it work better for the life you want.
For me, helping women become more financially secure isn't just about paying off credit cards. Money gives women choices. It gives us breathing room, independence and the ability to make decisions based on what we want for our lives instead of what we can afford to escape from.
That's work I'm very proud to be part of.
Are you setting your wallet on fire every day?
I’m Adrian, aka Your Fairy Debtmother. I help busy women figure out where their money is actually going, get serious about paying down debt, and finally feel like they’re the one in charge.
My style is practical, straightforward and completely judgment-free. We might even have a little FUN together. I’m not going to tell you to stop buying coffee, hand you a complicated budget, or make you feel guilty about what’s already happened. We’ll look at the real numbers, find the places your money is slipping away, and build a plan that actually works on the days you have 27 things to do (which is most days, if I remember correctly).
Debt isn’t just numbers on a spreadsheet. It’s the stress that keeps you awake at night, the tension with your partner, and that sinking feeling when you don’t even want to open the credit card statement.
My job is to help you get from “I don’t even want to look” to “Okay. I know what to do next.”
Before becoming Your Fairy Debtmother, I spent 30 years at Wells Fargo as a Financial Analyst, and I’ve since helped hundreds of people make smarter, more confident decisions with their money.
I’m not a CPA or investment advisor. I’m the Debt Specialist who tells it straight, helps you understand your options, and shows you how to outsmart the credit card companies. I really do hate those guys, so I love to outwit them when I can.
My Money Reset Session also comes with a simple guarantee: if I can’t identify at least $1,000 in long-term savings opportunities, I’ll refund your money.
I also believe pricing should be clear and straightforward. My current services and prices are listed on my website, and I work hard to keep them reasonable because helping someone get out of debt should not require creating a whole new financial problem.
Adrian was so patient and enthusiastic about helping me with my situation. She is extremely knowledgeable and shows genuine caring tor her clients. I honesty felt like I was talking to a good friend about our finances. |
