I love working with women because I am passionate about empowering and equipping them to reach their full potential. Women face unique challenges and barriers in various aspects of life, including personal finance. This is the main area I can have a positive impact. By focusing on women, I look to create a safe and supportive space where they can openly discuss their concerns, gain clarity, knowledge, build confidence, and feel empowered to execute a plan to manage their finances.
I worked in the industry for over 22 years and have witnessed firsthand how women are almost an afterthought. I fully understand that finances can be intimidating and overwhelming, especially with the societal norms and expectations often shape women's relationship with money. Not only that, but I witnessed this with my own Mother, a school teacher for 33 years! When preparing for retirement, the consultations were very much geared towards a male point of view and towards my Father assuming responsibility for management of day to day operations of the household. After this I made it a point to be very much more conscious of the women in the picture their points of view, considerations and unique challenges. As this grew, I realized the industry as a whole doesn't address everyday issues like leaving the workforce for child-rearing or even planning for it, among other everyday issues.
In the face of this realization, I strive to empower women to steer the conversations and embrace their financial independence. Break free of the limiting beliefs. While gaining the knowledge they desire. I am committed to providing the tools and resources tailored to the challenges and goals women have.
The best part of what I do is being able to witness the transformation and growth that occurs when women gain control over their financial lives. I am inspired by the tenacity, and eagerness to learn and do better.
Like any great coach, my approach is a blend of education, accountability, cheerleading, implementing strategies, and executing. I show my clients how to develop strategies that deal with a complete lifecycle of financial situations, such as: establishing an emergency fund, effective budgeting, eliminating debt, paying for college education debt-free, saving for retirement, insurance, and the basics of estate planning.
I also love helping my clients crush debt, build the relationship they want to have with money and attain financial freedom.
