I have been a financial advisor since 2001, and I have sought to build a firm that incorporates lessons from my earlier life—mission-driven, deeply committed to clients, and seeking to change the conversation about money. I have increasingly led my growing firm into a more independent status, providing our clients with the most balanced advice possible. It has been a real joy to build a diverse talent pool of financial advisors, and to create a growing community of interesting clients.

My first career was as a midwife, and I might be the only former midwife who is now a financial advisor!

I grew up and raised my family just outside DC.

I enjoy many outdoor activities, and founded a small grassroots environmental group, Friends of Dueling Creek.
