Born out of life's most profound challenges, Deb Curtis has emerged as a voice of reason in the tumultuous world of business. Her personal journey, marred by hardship and strife, has molded her into a resilient advocate for unity in diversity, supporting and empowering women in small business ownership transitions.

Professionally, she faced equally daunting hurdles. In the 1990s, as a woman in a male-dominated corporate world, she was told women didn't get promoted. Undeterred, she fought for an opportunity to prove herself. She was given six months to make a difference as a manager and seized the moment to shine. Deb outperformed all the other managers, comprised entirely of white men, a feat which earned her a promotion but not equal pay. This experience sparked a determination in her to make a difference for others in similar circumstances.

After a 30-year career in corporate America, she took the lessons she learned and set out to empower women. In 2018, she established her own small business to help women and people from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds take over ownership of established, money-making small businesses. Partnering with the Small Business Administration, Deb has been a relentless advocate for diversity and inclusion, breaking down barriers and changing preconceived notions of business ownership.
