Question:

Are my fees too high if I lose a potential client due to my prices?

Answer:

No! It may be surprising but if all your prospects are signing up right away and you are getting no rejection, then your fees are too low. The general rule is that 80% of your prospects should convert, and 20% should at least give you pushback or even reject your fees. Often women entrepreneurs and business owners think money silence around their fees is a good thing. What it may indicate is you are leaving money on the table.

Ask yourself these questions:

  • What research did I do when establishing my fees?
  • How well do I know and communicate my value to my prospects?
  • Are the people who think you are priced too high your ideal client?

Knowing and standing in the value you provide isn’t always easy. Keep in mind a little rejection may be a good sign that you are priced right!
